Shipping

There are two kinds of ocean shipments: LCL (Less than Container Load) and FCL (Full Container Load).

Alsynite NZ Ltd will ship, in LCL quantities, plastic wrapped in full timber crates, or alternatively FCL quantities for larger volumes in both 20-foot and 40-foot containers. We can provide pricing for any of the customer’s requirements, such as:

  • Free On Board (FOB) 1
  • Cost, Insurance and Freight (CIF) 2
  • Cost and Freight (C&F) 3
  • Free Into Store (FIS) 4

Alsynite NZ Ltd currently exports stock to Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Norfolk Island, Samoa, Tahiti, New Caledonia, and Vanuatu.


  1. The shipper/trader pays only costs up to the ship and insurance cost, but freight charges are paid by the buyer/consignee.
  2. The shipper/trader has to pay the cost of shipment up to the ship, and insurance cost of cargo and freight cost up to the destination port.
  3. The seller pays for transportation to the port of loading, cost and freight, and the buyer pays for the insurance and the rest of the transportation.
  4. The exporter pays all costs incurred in delivery of the goods to the importer's store.
