PolyGold
PolyGold® insulation products are economical, guarantee high performance, and are easily installed into any wall or ceiling. As well as providing superior thermal insulation benefits, PolyGold® products also provide excellent sound absorption properties.
Applications
PolyGold® insulation blankets are widely used for the underside of metal and other roofing products to reduce heat gain and loss. Sound absorption properties reduce noise from rain, hail, and other external sources, creating a more pleasant, quiet, and comfortable building for occupants.
PolyGold® premium thermal insulation biscuits are widely used for installation in both residential housing and light commercial buildings, and are supplied in varying sizes to meet variables in timber and steel framing spacing. There is also an acoustical option with sound absorption and noise reduction properties, dramatically reducing the transmission of noise through walls, floors and roofs.
Features and Benefits
- Lightweight and easy to install: The manufacturing process allows it to be installed using friction to avoide sagging and loss of thermal benefits.
- Durable: Non-combustible and being non-cellular and non-hygrscopic,
does not promote capillary action. The resilient in-organic fibre will not
cause corrosion of metals.
- Thermal Performance: Provides excellent thermal benefits and is
supported by Certification to AS/NZS 4858.1:2002
- Reduces Noise: Provides excellent acoustical properties effectively
reducing the level of unwarranted noise and therefore enhances the
comfort level of building occupants.
- Resists Vermin: Does not provide any food value for vermin.
