Astrolite®
Manufactured in Australia by Bayer Material Science and distributed in New Zealand by Alsynite, Astrolite® polycarbonate roofing has a lifetime warranty against loss of light transmission and, with its high impact resistance, a five-year warranty against breakage due to hail. Astrolite® offers 99.9% UV protection, and is available in both corrugated (aka Roma) and Greca profiles and in four attractive colours: smoke grey, antique bronze, opal and clear.
A full range of standard sizes up to 7.2m lengths are available with the effective sheet cover being .760mm; this ensures Astrolite® polycarbonate roofing is an ideal clear roofing product that will complement an outdoor living and entertaining area and offer year-round protection from harsh ultraviolet light.
Astrolite® polycarbonate is recommended to be installed with a minimum roof pitch of no less than 5°. Purlin barrier tape ensures sheet protection from rubbing on the purlin and reduces noise. Complete the project with Laserlite® One Shot branded fastenings as this will allow the sheeting to perform to expectations – and with the building project a complete success, homeowners can enjoy their new outdoor living area for years to come.
