Custom Glaze

Custom Glaze is a high quality Polycarbonate roofing product that is engineered to withstand long term outdoor UV exposure.

With a thickness of 1.2mm and available in all lengths up to 7.2m, Custom Glaze will meet the requirements of designers looking for a new modern look that will protect and enhance any outdoor living area.

 

  

Lengths
Custom Glaze is available in all standard and custom lengths. Alsynite will cut back project specific lengths to suit customer requirements. Standard lengths are: 1.8m, 2.1m, 2.4m, 2.7m, 3.0m, 3.6m, 4.2m, 4.8m, 5.4m and 7.2m.

 Custom Glaze is available in the following shades:
 Transparent Clear  Bronze Tint
 Light Transmission  93%  38%
 Heat Reduction  0%  33%
       

What you will need 
  • Six Alsynite branded 12g x 65mm fasteners with 32mm weatherlock
    per lineal metre.
  • Polycarbonate Barge Capping (to suit the roof design)
  • Metal Back Channel Flashing (to suit the roof design)

Installation Information 
Recommended Roof Pitch: Alsynite Recommends that the minimum roof pitch for
Custom Glaze installations is 5 degrees.
 
Noise Stop Tape: Noise Stop Tape should be installed on purlins prior to fastening.
Custom Glaze is designed to be installed on purlins at a maximum of 1000mm centres. 
 
Fasteners: Pre-drill a 10mm oversize hole in the sheet then position the fastening in
the centre of the hole and drill it into the purlin. Custom Glaze must be fixed on every crest of every purlin.
